Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
In short: Poker Inn is a free-to-play poker game (Texas Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha) with a Poker Academy. There is no real money, no prizes and no cash-out. We collect what the app needs to run your account, games, clubs, chips and Academy progress, plus crash reports and usage statistics so we can fix and improve it. Purchases go through Apple or Google, and we never see your card details. We do not sell your data or share it for targeted advertising, we show no ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. You can delete your account in the app or on the web.
This policy covers the Poker Inn apps for iPhone and Android and the website at playpokerinn.com (together, "Poker Inn"). Poker Inn is provided by Revintiq Tech LLC ("we", "us"). Questions: support@playpokerinn.com.
What we collect
Account and identity
- Account. You need an account to play online (host or join tables, clubs, chips, Academy sync and stats). Quick Play against bots and the Academy on your phone work without one. When you first open the app you get a guest account with a random Firebase user ID; creating an account upgrades that guest account in place, so the same user ID keeps your history. You also get a short player ID that other players can see.
- Sign-in details. Your email address if you sign in with email and password, or the identifier and any email address the sign-in provider shares with us if you use another sign-in option the app offers (for example Sign in with Apple, which may give us a private relay address, or Google sign-in). Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see them.
- Display name and avatar choices you enter in Profile. Other players at your tables and in your clubs see them.
- Terms acceptance: which version of our Terms you accepted, and when.
Device identifiers
- Push token (Apple Push Notification service / Firebase Cloud Messaging), so we can send the notifications you turn on (your turn, seat requests, club games and messages). Your notification switches are stored with your account.
- Firebase installation ID, a random ID per app install that Firebase services use to tell installs apart.
- Device encryption key. Each device creates its own key pair; the public half is stored with your account so your hole cards can be encrypted to your device. The private half never leaves the device.
Gameplay
- Game and hand history: the tables you play at, which game (Hold'em or Omaha), hands dealt, actions, chip results, ledgers and the hand replays used by Hand Review. A dealer server deals the cards and records these.
- Statistics, overall and for each game you play.
- Clubs: the clubs you create or join, membership and roles.
Poker Inn chips
- Chips wallet and ledger: your play-money balance, daily-bonus streak and claim times, and a ledger of every change (starting balance, daily bonus, safety net, Academy rewards, host reward, buy-ins and cash-outs) with the table or reward it came from. Chips are play money only: they are earned in the app, never sold, and can't be cashed out or transferred. Only our server writes your wallet; you can see your own.
Poker Academy
- Academy progress when you're signed in: a log of lessons and modules completed, quiz, exam, placement-test, daily and review answers, so your levels, streak and review queue follow you to a new phone.
- On your device only: "your hands" quizzes, leak reports and coach-mode hints are worked out on your phone from your own hand records, and are not uploaded.
Purchases and subscriptions
- Player Pass and club plan subscriptions are bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handles payment; we do not receive your card number, billing address or other payment details.
- When you buy or restore, the app sends us the store's transaction record. Our server checks it with Apple or Google and keeps what it needs to honour the subscription: transaction and original-transaction IDs, product, expiry date, store environment and status. For club plans this is stored with the club; for the Player Pass, with your account.
- Entitlements: whether you currently have the Player Pass, where it comes from (your own subscription, a club plan, or a promotional grant), and until when.
Content you create
- Table chat messages and stickers, at club tables only; only members of that club can read them.
- Club posts and comments, visible to the club's members.
- Images you upload for stickers or a club picture. Only the image you pick is uploaded; the app does not read the rest of your photo library. On Android, scanning a QR code uses Google's code scanner and no camera image is sent to us.
- Reports you send about a player or content (what you reported, the reason and any note), and the list of players you block, which only you can see.
Support emails
- If you email support@playpokerinn.com, the message is forwarded to our team's inbox by Cloudflare Email Routing. We see your email address and whatever you include, and use it only to answer you.
Diagnostics and usage
- Crash and diagnostic data via Firebase Crashlytics: stack traces, device model, OS version, app version and build, and the state of the app when it crashed.
- Performance data via Firebase Performance Monitoring: app start time, screen rendering and network request timing.
- Usage and gameplay analytics via Google Analytics for Firebase: events such as opening a screen, starting a practice game, joining a table or tapping a notification, with coarse device and app information. Google Analytics estimates an approximate location (country or region) from your IP address; we don't collect precise location.
- App integrity checks via Firebase App Check where enabled: a token from Apple App Attest or Google Play Integrity that tells our servers a request comes from the genuine app.
- Server logs: our game server logs technical events (for example a table starting or a request being refused) to keep the service running.
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, health data, or payment card details. Settings such as sound, card colours and table style stay on your device.
Why we use it
- To run the game: sign you in, seat you at tables, deal hands, keep chip balances and ledgers, run clubs, sync Academy progress, deliver chat and notifications, and let you sign in on a new phone.
- To provide what you bought: verify store receipts, keep your Player Pass or club plan active, and restore it.
- To keep it fair and safe: investigate disputed hands, enforce our Terms, act on reports of abusive behaviour, cheating or objectionable content, and spot abuse of free chips (for example many accounts on one device).
- To answer you when you contact support.
- To keep it secure: protect accounts, hole cards and the service from misuse.
- To meet legal duties: respond to lawful requests and keep records the law requires.
- To fix and improve the app: crash reports, performance traces and aggregated usage statistics.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not share it with data brokers.
Legal bases (if you are in the UK or EEA)
We process your data to perform our contract with you (running your account, games, chips, Academy progress and subscriptions), for our legitimate interests (fair play, security, moderation, fixing and improving the app), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where we ask for it (for example notifications). You can withdraw consent at any time in the app or your phone's settings.
Who processes it
Poker Inn is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring, Analytics, App Check, Hosting) and Google Cloud (the game server, backups and Secret Manager for our keys), which store and process data for us as a service provider under Google's terms. Data is stored in the United States; if you live elsewhere, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. Push notifications on iPhone are delivered through Apple's push service. Apple and Google process payments for subscriptions under their own privacy policies, and confirm purchases to our server. Cloudflare hosts our website (playpokerinn.com) and forwards email sent to our support address. Other players see what the game shows them: your name, avatar, player ID, table actions, and, in your clubs, your chat and posts.
Their own policies apply to what they process: Google Privacy Policy, How Google uses information from apps that use its services, Firebase privacy and security, Apple Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Tracking
Poker Inn does not track you: we do not link data from the app with data from other companies' apps, websites or offline sources for advertising, and we do not share it with data brokers. The app does not ask for, or use, the advertising identifier.
How long we keep it
- Account, profile, clubs, gameplay history, statistics, chips wallet and ledger, Academy progress, entitlements and purchase records: while your account exists. When you delete your account we remove them as described on the delete account page, within 30 days.
- Chat, club posts and comments, uploaded images: until you or a club admin delete them, or your account is deleted.
- Shared hand records: a hand you played is also part of other players' history and fair-play checks, so after you delete your account those records are kept but anonymised (your name becomes "Deleted player").
- Backups: database backups are deleted automatically after 30 days. If we ever restore a backup, account deletions made since are applied again.
- Purchase records: deleted with your account. Apple and Google keep their own records of your purchases under their policies.
- Support emails: as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the request.
- Crash reports: up to 90 days in Crashlytics.
- Analytics events: up to 14 months, then deleted by Google Analytics.
Deleting your data
Delete your account in the app (Profile โ Account โ Delete account) or on the web, without the app, by following the steps on our delete account page. This deletes your sign-in, profile, statistics, history, chips wallet and ledger, Academy progress, entitlements and purchase records, and your posts and chat; shared hand records other players need are kept but anonymised. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription with Apple or Google; cancel it in the store (see Support).
Your choices and rights
- Change your name and avatar in Profile. Turn notifications on or off in Profile โ Notifications or in your phone's settings.
- Everyone can ask us for a copy of their data, to correct it, or to delete it, at support@playpokerinn.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, including to object to processing or to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). We will respond within 30 days.
Children
Poker Inn is a poker game for adults. It is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 or from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18 we delete it; if you believe a minor is using the app, contact us.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Server keys are kept in Google Cloud Secret Manager. Access to the database is restricted by security rules so each player can read only what the game allows; chips wallets, entitlements and purchase records can only be written by our server. Your own hole cards are encrypted to your device during live hands. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date above. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app.
